    Strange CCW question

    I was wondering:

Is there any bit of land in California that's not part of any county? Which leads to my next question: is there anyone who is a resident of California but isn't a resident of any county?

Even Federal Land (USFS, National Forest, BLM, etc.) shows up on the County Assessor Rolls for a particular county.
I'd be curious how foreign embassies show up though... Anybody out there with access to SF County's assessor records?

Didn't think so. But obviously you can see why I was wondering about that.
