Interesting pattern. All of the gun control bills are being introduced by Dems.....hmmm...that's right those Dems are all for Gun Rights. Keep voting for em...they will win eventually.

Gun Confiscation? In MISSOURI? I'm literally crying from laughter here!

Well, as I recall, Republicans are in the majority in the Senate and House.

This from Article 1, Section 23 of the Missouri State Constitutional Provision:

“That the right of every citizen to keep and bear arms in defense of his home, person and property, or when lawfully summoned in aid of the civil power, shall not be questioned; but this shall not justify the wearing of concealed weapons."

I take a bit of comfort in that all this is beginning to take on the look and feel of a "bubble". Stocks, housing prices, toilette paper, tulips... This is another irrational run up, and hopefully we'll soon see a massive crash, ideally from SCOTUS.

I wonder how many people in Missouri will turn their guns in....i'm guessing zero.

That's great but I am keeping an eye on the bigger picture here. Gun bans are what the the dems want and as long as they are voted in office, they will push it. They may not have the votes today but in 5-10 years they may. This is going to be a long term battle.

It won't pass, it's just grand standing. 4 Democrats introduce a bill, there are 163 Reps and 109 of them are Republicans.

Problem is I'm not seeing enough Republicans stand up as staunch supporters of the 2A. We need strong pro 2A dems AND republicans to defeat these bills.

if you were ever in doubt that legislators live in their own crazy world, this should put an end to that.

I think more democratic seats over there will be vacated next election cycle then guns turned in.
Anyway...here's a dearth of reasoning to ponder: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Guns

When I read these kinds of stories I wonder to myself why it is that no one has taken the case to the SCOTUS to settle whether the 2nd means that we, the people, have the right to weapons that are on par with current military small arms or not?

Can somebody explain this to me? Seems pretty clear that if it protects our right to be armed to defend this country and the constitution from tyranny that we have the right to be on the same level as the average foot soldier that we may need to go up against.

The elections can't come soon enough, and Osama Bin Biden have an additional four years of pain to inflict on all of us in their path to destroy this nation; the lackeys and douchebags that blindly follow will just continue singing the same tune.

Throw them out of office, out of this country for being traitors, seditionists and treasonous scum.
