    is it LEGAL to own a Marlin camp 45 or camp 9

    in Cali today?

    if so -- is it only legal to buy one that is ALREADY in cali or can you buy one from outside the state and have it shipped to your ffl ??

    thank you in advance for any answers feel free to add any relevant details.

    Stock Marlin Camp carbine is A-OK to own or import, so long as you're not importing or transferring >10 round magazines with it. Those you can only have if you already owned them pre-2000, or as rebuild kits, etc.

    If they're modified, review the flowchart to make sure that your modifications don't make them AW's. Other than that, they're great little rifles, and completely good to go in California.
