Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen Trutanich has been speaking at Neighborhood Councils around the San Fernando Valley recently about his run for City Attorney. Mostly spoke about his record, he did mention, I heard, at the Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council that the gun purchase letters sent out were just a reminder for the unlawful or forgetful about certain regulations. If 1% were straw purchasers, then the letter might stop half of those (.5%) of those as per a Rand study, as I understood.

Perhaps this is much like the Police 'meeting and greeting' parents dropping off kids at schools first day, the next time parents get a warning for bad traffic decisions to the next 'meeting' a ticket for California Stops when dropping off kids at school.

Voted for him as he was with Michel and associates, it seems he was in another department entirely with his support of VP Biden's committee.

What is the Use of asking Carmen Trutanich Any questions?

He betrayed us gun owners during his tenure as City Attorney. He panders to the idiots in City council. He lied to them as well on several occasions and they caught him. He could have effected change and instead turned on us to advance his own political ambitions. Those he works for thought that he was aiming above his station.

Let him rot.
