    Hollywood/Video Game Gun Ban!

Just a thought: Hey, its all about our kids safety right?

New proposed Gun Ban should extend into Hollywood/Silicone Valley as follows:

-No movies/video games made with any of listed types of guns proposed ban

-All movies made with these gun type are NOT grandfathered and must stop being played on TV reruns etc.

-Video games with these weapons are banned from California

-ALL RIGHTS TO THESE MOVIES AND $$ MADE WILL BE FORFEITED OR Executives/actors are considered FELONS and to be arrested.

-To make, play or be involved in movie/video game production that has these weapons in it and not reporting it is a felony.

-A 5% tax for every bullet fired in a movie/video game.

-Lastly, the Mayors or cities where movies like this are made should also be arrested as felons for aiding and abetting the unlawful use of banned weapons.

After all, fair is fair right? Its about our kids and their safety!
People control, err, I mean gun control is for everyone.
INCLUDING these freaking morons soaking up $$$ doing one thing while flapping their lips about another!(actors, corporations, cities)

I may be wrong but aren't Corporations looked upon as individuals and given rights also? Cannot wait to see Rambo XII with "john" fighting insurgents with a pencil eraser!

    Forgot:
Background checks on all actors before they can be in ANY movie which they fire a revolver/shotgun. IF they don't pass... well... ahhh sorry!! No movie for you!

The actors shouldn't be able to use more than 7 rounds during the climactic scene where they face the bad guy. Or a detachable magazine.

Background checks and a state approved firearms safety course by an NRA or military certified instructor before the actors are allowed to handle firearms should do the trick.

Nice but Hollyweird will just move operations to a "free" state that allows guns and gun violence on film and video games. Go figure.

I understand what you're getting at, and i'm sure you agree that it's never a good idea to sacrifice one amendment for another. Whichever way it goes, first for second or second for first, or any other permutation.
              Ruger 10/22 (22cal)
              Sig SP2022 (9mm)

              Steyr M9-A1 (9mm)
              M1a Scout (308cal)

Dear Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms,
              Thanks for the idea!

Oh don't worry, once "real" guns are banned and crime starts increasing, your leftist overlords will have no trouble blaming Hollywood to save their tails.

                  In 10 years' time......

"Mr Governor, can you explain why crime has risen since the California Total Disarmament Act passed in 2013?"

'Miss Channel 5 reporter , since banning guns its obvious our laws aren't strong enough. Despite the stringent requirements passed a decade ago people are still being shot. To that end my government has come to the conclusion that video games and violent movies are causing all this activity. My predecessors took away the vile tools of death 10 years ago, and now its time to take away the motivation. My proposal bans gun-friendly advertising, media spots, movies, or the sale and exhibition of TV shows which depict or glorify firearms .The 1st Amendment was never intended to inspire murder or glorify violence."
The more prohibitions you have, the less virtuous people will be.
The more subsidies you have, the less self reliant people will be.

The 1911 may have been in wars for 100 years, but Masetro Bartolomeo Beretta was arming the world 400 years before John Browning was ever a wet dream.

California and Los Angeles in particular lose too much more production, and a whole buch of people will be leaving the state.

It WONT be the rich & fancy... they can afford to stay in the beautiful Malibu, and fly wherever bumf*** backwater will pay 25-50 cents per $1 spent 'tax credit' back to the producers... no the folks you'll lose... have in fact been losing for years, are the dedicated, and hardworking people who actually MAKE movies and TV.

Doesn't seem like it from the outside, with $10,000 a plate fundraiser dinners for all your favorite Democrats every election season, but most of the people I've worked with in the last 20 years are at least moderate if not staunchly conservative Republicans, and most are gun owners.

Some of you guys are so busy being angry all the time, you don't think very clearly. Losing another 10,000 votes next election gonna help or hurt the cause?

Everyone who talks about video games and movies as "the problem" should just DROP IT. You're not doing us any favors by trying to scapegoat some other freedom.

And you're alienating the younger people, making our future battles that much harder.

If you think lost jobs and a depressed economy will stop the antis, think again. The SAFE act criminalizes thousands of employees in New York Tae who work for Remington arms and Kimber. Did the probable loss of those industries and the destruction of Yonkers and Illion's tax base concern Chancellor Cuomo in the slightest? Probably not.

That brings us to California. As sure as I type this now, crime will remain unchanged or can increase after their next group of gun laws. The Democrats of the future can't use lawful gun owners as scapegoats, because gun ownership will already be illegal. That leaves the movie industry and depictions of guns as the next step.

Germany has these types of strict regulations towards video games/movies produced and imported. It's delusion at its best.
