    I wrote my second letter

i sent another letter to Write Your Reps!

    Dear <>:
I respectfully request that you do not support the proposed actions of those who choose to impose restrictions on legal firearm owners and ignore the rights of our citizens as afforded by the constitution.

Unless the constitution has been recently changed, I request you abide by your sworn oath that states:

"I do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States."

    2013 SB 47 - Yee, Assault Weapons
    2013 CA AB 48 - Skinner/Ammiano, Magazines
    2013 CA SB 53 - Deleon/Yee Ammunition purchase permits
2013 CA SB 108 Yee Firearms: lending and residential storage
2013 CA SB 127 - Gaines Firearms prohibition mentally ill

    AB 169 - Unsafe Handguns - Dickinson
AB 170 - Bradford - Assault weapons and .50 BMG rifles
AB 174 - Bonta - Weapons: grandfather clauses.
    AB 180 - Bonta - Ammunition.

2013 CA AB 187 Bonta Ammunition Tax
2013 CA SB 140 Leno - Amend budget to allow DROS funds for APP enforcement

All of these bills are completely UNACCEPTABLE.

I have always striven to be a good, upstanding citizen and have always done my part for society, but the proposed laws have stepped way over the line. The gun control laws currently in effect are draconian and ineffective. The crime rate here is as high or higher than most of the free states where good citizens are allowed unrestricted ownership of firearms. Pursuing this political agenda and making the laws even more restrictive will not only be completely impotent, but will have the potential of making criminals out the very people you are sworn to protect. There is a large percent of the state population that feel the way I do.

I love California. I was born here, and my plan was to die here. This is the first time I have ever considered calling another state my home.

Please do not be the politicians that destroy the great state of California.

    Sincerely,

Since i freely copied some of the prose from other willing sources, I extend the same courtesy.

I really hope those guys in sacramento don't make me have to move from my home state.
