    List of politicians' emails

    Hi,

Does anyone have a big list of all the assembly members in california, their emails? I want to tell them how to vote.

    It's a standard format.

    Senator.LastName@sen.ca.gov or Assemblymember.LastName@asm.ca.gov

www.leginfo.ca.gov/yourleg.html can help if you need proper spelling.
"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race." Calvin Coolidge

I actually made a list today:

But then realized there was already one:

Note also that several of the legislators pretend like that address doesn't work - perhaps they've asked for it to be disabled - so you can expect a few bounced emails.

Many seem to prefer that one uses the 'contact page' at the individual web sites, since (a) it's more difficult to send a bunch of messages to different legislators that way and (b) the software is set to ask for your address, and reject your message if your zip is not within the district.

Since the laws they pass affect all of California, not just their districts, they really need to hear from everybody who wants to comment. I have no problem using the zip code of one of their local offices - also on the contact pages - as my own, to get past that filter.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
