Politicians are NOT all the same

In case Gene couldn't get it through some of the thick skulls around here ...

Not all politicians are the same. Just because there is a Democratic super majority doesn't mean there is a gun control super majority. Just because one Dem wants to tax ammo doesn't mean they all do. Just because one wants to force insurance on gun owners doesn't mean they all do.

    STOP PANICKING!

The flood pf panicky messages about doom, move to Texas, fortify your bunker, treason ... it doesn't help in the slightest, it floods useful threads with so much nose they may as well be filled with static, and it scares people who have no experience at all.

    STOP PANICKING!

Keep up the phone calls and emails. Keep rallying. Show up in person.

STOP ACTING LIKE A BUNCH OF SCHOOL KIDS WHEN THE BUS DOESN'T SHOW UP!

Stop flooding threads with spittle and sputum. If have no useful information, vent in off-topic or something.
Mention the Deacons for Defense and Justice and make both left and right wingnuts squirm

I don't think anyone here is celebrating.

As to your overall point, yea, they are not all the same, some are stupid, some are evil, some are insane.

Still have yet to see one that was good though.
Yes, I am an electrical engineer.
No, I will not fix your computer.

Other point is that there are the laws they propose, then there are the laws which they manage to pass, and then there are the laws which survive injunctions.

Right now we're at the "propose" stage, which is no presently no different from a bunch of six year olds standing around the playground talking about how it's "gonna be" when they grow up.

If all of the laws they are talking about were to pass, I would be one of the people moving out of California. That having been said, I haven't packed ANYTHING. And I tend to plan ahead for things I expect to do. I have said for years that my "line in the sand" is when they pass a law criminalizing the possession of something I own, and saying I must surrender it.

The day that's firmly set in law, I am out of here.
But leaving before out of fear of what one THINKS is going to happen, is simply cowardice.
