    Tempory CA License.

    Question??
I have a paper CA DMV Tempory License and my old one with the experation year punched out. I am in process of renewing my license. Will these two in combination be excepted as a valid CA License for ID??

It may depend on the FFL. Some may accept it and others may want a valid Ca picture ID.

No. An FFL will not (should not) accept that as valid CA ID.

I renewed my drivers license. DMV gave a paper tempory license good for 60 days pending issuance of new license. CA DMV punches the Experation Year from current license and gives it back to you to be used as Identification purposees. I have all my old licenses. This has always been the case.

look at question 14 at http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/dlrfaqs.php#14G

Temporary driver licenses and temporary identification cards (issued without photo) are not accepted forms of proof of identity and age.

I have my Driver License with photo and address on it. CA DMV punched a hole thru the experation year when they gave me the tempory license pending the issuance of the New Driver License. Dosn't the two together still shows current ID from the state of CA.
            1. Old drivers license with all info readable and picture on it.
            2. Interm License showing same name and address with Experation date past my birthday and expiring end of March??
Not trying to hammer this to death, just wanting to know if I need to wait for the New one to come in the mail before starting a DROS.
Also have a pictured CCW card from the Great state of Florida.
Also have a TWIC Picture ID Card Issued from TSA with name and picture on it.

You must wait till you have your new license to start a dros. An expired license is not usable even with a temporary license with a valid expiration. I know this because I have had this discussion with the DOJ. One of my customers had an expired license by one day when we started his dros and it was denied because of it. When I spoke to the doj they said even though he had renewed his license until he had the new card it was invalid for identification purposes. Expired card = NO GUN. If you don't believe me call the DOJ and ask. It should only take a week or two to get you new license.
