Buying a gun from out of state, Mag Question.

Hi guys I've been checking out these forums for a few days and finally joined up.

Here is my question. I would like to buy a HK USPC 40 from an out of state FFL, the thing is, they only have the normal capacity mag version.

Would I be able to still buy the gun and have it sent to my local FFL if I ask the Selling FFL to remove the mags and just send the actual handgun.

I can then purchase the legal mags here or even possibly buy them from the Selling FFL.

I know this may cost a little bit more, but I find it slim picking as far a HKs go around here, and to me the out of state FFL having it in stock is a huge bonus.

Yep, done that all the time. When I've done it through dealers, most have been happy to swap out new 10 rounders for the regular versions.
