to me the 2nd is a line in the sand, if my gun rights are taken away i have nothing. my freedom is gone . if you voted for Obama you really messed up. i am not that smart and i could see right threw him right away in 2008. it is not hard to see the damage he is doing to this country. do Americans really want a far left government. what has the left done to make things better.

Obama's "machine" is going to strip a gear. There is no benefit for his army of entitlement seekers in fighting the 2nd Amendment It doen't affect their welfare, free healthcare, or their illegal immigration status and/or amenesty. They don't have the resolve to win this fight.

The Administration and main stream media mistakenly believes the NRA is just a special interest lobby funded by firearms manufacturers. Huffington Post is trying to dismiss NRA's recent membership increases as being due to the NRA heavily discounting membership fees (from $35 to $25? "heavily"? really?); as if that made nearly 1 million new members/25% membership increase irrelevant. They fail to detect the resolve of the gun owning, Constitution loving Americans who have stepped up to not only join the NRA, but many have purchased Life memberships for $300 or upgraded to Endowment/Patron status in order to help fund this most important of all fights to defend the 2nd Amendment. WE ARE THE NRA. When they criticize the 2nd Amendment and NRA they are criticizing many millions of Americans and the principles this country was founded upon. We believe passionately in the Right to Bear Arms and the Constitution. Many of us would defend it with our lives in order to pass Liberty on to our children and grandchildren. None of them would lay down their lives for a gun ban.

Time and again history has shown us that a small band of dedicated people can defeat those who believe their power is absolute. Now is our time. We will not go quietly into the night.

Obama and the Democratic or (Republican) legislators which attack our rights are going to relearn the lesson that Gun Control is the "third rail" of American Politics.
