Am I wrong, or did Cuomo's magazine ban effectively ban all modern semi auto pistols? I can't think of anything but a 1911 that only has 7 rounds. Nothing in a respectable caliber, anyway.

There are plenty of pistols that have 7 round or less magazines other than a 1911. Kahr K40, S&W M&P Shield 40 are two off the top of my head. I think anything on the small side with a single stack mag will be close to 7 or less.

While it's true that there are guns with such limited mags coming standard, the ban is too wide sweeping to be upheld.
