A EO like this will never happen. Obama is a narcissist and everything he has ever done was carefully examined and if it made him possibly look bad in the future he either did not do it or had someone else do it. This one is on him. He has to do it but he can't. It is illegal and will ruin his prospects of future sainthood. Don't get me wrong. He wants to do it but it is against his nature to tarnish his hero complex.

Ok. I really appreciate getting stomped for asking a question.
After reading it appears if he issues an EO even an illegal one it would take either a 2/3 vote of both house and senate ( not going to happen) or a Supreme Court decision which could take years to overturn.
I don't share the view that he cares what people think as this is his last term.

SPECULATION on bills yet to be introduced or regulations not yet written goes to OT. Nobody can predict the future. Even announcements from appropriate national or state politicians are speculative until the actual measure is introduced and the content may be examined. Even then, it is perilous to suggest individual action in response to such bills - they may be amended to different content, even entirely different purpose, and they may not make it into law. (Don't read that as 'cannot happen' - just stay grounded in what 'is' rather than what 'may be'.)
