Petition to eliminate armed guards for Obama, Biden & their families

I think this petition is dumb as a petition but since it has a hair above zero chance of passing, I think it makes a clever statement. Putting a gun free safe zone around the president will NOT deter anybody from harming him. That much is quite obvious, so it ought to be equally obvious that a gun free safe zone in any of the places they are will NOT deter anybody from harming whomever is in the zone.

But a clever statement... there are better ways of putting it; like a rhetorical question.
