That explains the exemption for leos to have high (standard) capacity magazines. Shooting from the hip requires more rounds per target.

Going back into history and looking the Stg-44, generally regarded as the first assault rifle.

The stg44 was designed with accuracy in mind along with higher rate of fire. The German manual only advised full automatic fire in emergency situations.

The pistol grip is simply an ergonomic feature. It actually makes a more comfortable angle when its shouldered not when held low.

Stupid argument. Its like saying comfortable bucket seats helps somebody to drive faster and break the speed limit easier.
