    Ban the Louisville Slugger

Been thinking a lot about gun control lately with the Heller case. Trying to figure out the ani-gun culture.

I've been a paramedic for 10 years now and I've seen my share of dead people. Yes, I've seen some gun shot victims, most of them were self-inflicted. But I've seen a lot more non-gun violent deaths. I remember one gruseome one where a guy got killed with a baseball bat. Where's the Louisville Slugger Ban? Where's the knife ban? I've seen scores of dead folks that died at the hands of automobiles. Where's the Chevy Tahoe ban? (I own one, 6 thousand pounds of rolling death) Can't count the amount of dead folks from booze. Where's the booze ban? Oh yea, they tried that one already. Seen lot's of folks who died in fires, matches ban?

What I'm saying is, if gun control is about THE PUBLIC BEING SAFE, there are a lot of other things that should be way ahead of guns on the "lets ban it" list....

I wonder what the odds of getting shot in this country are? Probably more likley to be struck by lightning or attacked by a shark. Can we ban tornadoes? OR we could ban trailer parks because tornadoes always seem to strike there. Sorry, my rant is over....

You should start "EMT/Paramedics Against Gun Bans"

You need a catchy slogan though ...

    Something like ...

    Because bats make death messy.

That reminds me of the end of Casino. I am sure Nicky Santoro (Joe Pesci) and his brother would have preferred a bullet instead.

I worry more about edge weapons than firearms.

Wow she got nailed...I guess firearms bans are more easy to get approved since they are more used in a variety of crimes...What I dont understand, is how they can go after respectable citzens over something we enjoy...I guess its time form a militia and go after the criminals ourselves...We can be called "The Streetsweepers"....

Damn and I was just starting my draft for a Mircobatting bill, where a unique serial number would be stamped onto every bat sold in California. The serial number would then be transferred to the victims skull upon blunt force impact.

I already said my piece about this.

                  Hands.

                  Hands cause crimes.

                  We need to ban hands.

You'll also need ID to buy pine tar with which a registry will be kept and a 30 day "cooling off" period before buying another CA legal Louisville Slugger!!!

Ah yes I forgot that part. Don't forget the lock that is required with the purchase of the bat. You know the one that ends up being used as a target..
