Sportsman's Guide Ammo Contra Costa County

I think it's pretty well known that sportman's guide doesn't ship ammo to Contra Costa County as this point. But I jut called them to find out exactly why this is. They informed me that it's not their policy and that the got this information from the Attorney General in my area. Now I don't know if they mean AG of California or if they mean the county DA but I'm guessing they meant the county DA. As far as I know it's not illegal to ship ammo to CCC and that the other big names like bulkammo, sgammo etc all ship to CCC. Is it true that the DA is lying to Sportsman's Guide? They said they would need the AG/DA to tell them that it's legal before they start shipping there.

That's new, most often they write back that it is their "Business Policy" to not ship to CCC, regardless of the laws.
Long ago I made it my business policy to never shop with them and warn others not to.
Looks like someone at SG wised-up and thought to blame someone else, but not enough to write the DA or hire a lawyer to find out what is legal.
Screw them, use slick-deals.com or ammoengine.com or gun-deals.com to find excellent prices from dealers that will legally ship to you in Contra Costa.
Sportsman's Guide does not deserve your money or time.

Sportsmans Guide has proven time and again that they simply don't care enough about your money to figure out what CA and local law actually says. Whether it's bad counsel, laziness, stupidity, or fear they don't care. Why people insist on trying to give them money is beyond me. Their prices aren't world beaters and their attitude sucks. They can rot.

They are selling good non-corrosive AK ammo at about 20 cents a round including shipping. Those are good deals. Best deal I could find on such ammo online.

If I'm not mistaken I get non corrosive for .21 cents a round from cheaper than dirt. When it comes to shipping Costs idk the difference. But once cent more a round is no big deal
