Would there be any interest in a group-funded 'educational' video that helps clear up some of the popular misconceptions concerning so-called "assault weapons". There is a lot of misinformation out there about these firearms and it's detrimintal to our efforts to combat misguided "gun-control" legislation when people honestly believe that an AR-15 is a 'fully-automatic assault rifle with high capacity clips'
This would be unaffiliated to any political party or gun-rights community (as much as possible). I'm thinking some simple, short, non-confrontational, entertaining, and information presented in an animated info-graphic style, similar to this little video explaining the history of the internet. Ours would use the American-made AR-15 as the poster-child for "assault weapons" here in the US.
I see this as being a powerful tool in the fight for preservation of gun-rights. And, if done correctly, it has the potential to go viral and reach a large audience.
