It in the committe stage right now. If it passes then it will go to the floor then to the Gov's desk. We still have 6-7 weeks to fight this before its is signed in. Either way we win.

Appropriations sub committee is next week.
I've seen Wednesday and Thursday as dates for that hearing, I do not know which is correct.

Process:

Pass Appropriations. That could be next week.

Pass Assembly Floor vote - probably early following week if passes Assembly (Aug 20 or so).

Goes back to Senate for concurrence with Assembly amendments; depends on how early in the week it gets by the Assembly floor vote. Could be the same day as the Assembly Floor vote.

Has to be completed in the legislature to hit the Governor's in-box on Sept 1.
