    katrina laws question

Hi everyone i was just wondering if California has any Katrina laws like other states such as Texas. I think it states something like they cant confiscate firearms like they did the first time around. I was also wondering if that's only applicable during natural disasters or is it also applied during martial law or would that be a separate law ?Either way i wouldn't give my arms up cause its i feel wrong but i was just wondering, was talking about this with a friend don't know how the conversation got there it started out about us talking about old cartoons hahaha.

These laws of which you speak are silly in my estimation and actually erode our rights protected under the Bill of Rights.

You are talking about a law to prevent law enforcement from confiscating our firearms during a crisis.
We already have the 4th Amendment to prevent this kind of abuse of power.
If we pass laws that duplicate what the Bill of Rights was supossed to do then we water down the meaning of The U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Perhaps this is the idea behind those who push these kinds of laws.
