I'm saying they are there, they are writing and voting on legislation, and we have to work with them.
The current legislation goes a lot further than its authors intended. There is reason to believe it could be steamrollered through the Legislature no matter what the grass roots gun rights people do. But even if it is passed it could be rendered relatively harmless with a few changes in the language.
If we give them enough reasons not to work with us, they won't.
And before you (the collective "you") start ranting that they are all communists or Marxists or whatever and they refuse to listen to reason, etc, etc, sit down with a professional lobbyist and ask him how he gets things done.
