    nfa item out of state

I searched the threads but didn't quite see the answer I was looking for.

Is it possible for a CA resident to purchase and get a tax stamp for a NFA item (say suppressor) but have it stored out of state? The reason I ask is that I live in CA but my Mom lives in WA, can I store it at her house in a safe?

Your mom can have a NFA trust and list you as one of the officers of that trust.

Your mom can then acquire a WA legal Title 2 firearm (AOW or NS).

You can then legally use that Title 2 firearm without your mom present, whenever you are in WA.

For multi-state situations i would suggest taking a look at the GOLD LEVEL GunDocx(TM) trust provided by the WealthCounsel(TM) network of estate planning attorneys.
