Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

See? That's how much I'm already ignoring it.

But to celebrate, I shall fart in their general direction. ( Aiming toward Sacramento, like facing Mecca, or something like that.)

I’m sure the AG will be on his knees, pleasuring himself as he begs to sniff those farts. You could also fart in a plastic bag and send it to him. He might really like that.

I would be honest and truthful. I would tell them the ones they already know about. That is all I have. That is all...

If it applied to me, which it does not, I would ask "Where is the historical tradition for requiring registration of firearms?"

It's not a registration law, when you transfer a gun they ask a specific question
                      (30) Yes or no answer to a question that inquires whether the purchaser has, within the past 30 days, checked and confirmed possession of all firearms currently owned or possessed.
And I think you have to say Yes to proceed with the purchase of a firearm, and it's under penalty of perjury.

Thanks for your reply. The original title used the word registration, so I did the same. So, if it is merely a question, what if I stated that I refuse to answer and that attempting to force me to answer would violate my rights under the First and Fifth Amendments and if they used that to preclude a purchase, it would also violate my rights under the Second Amendment?

It seems reasonable to me to do that. However, they ask other question already for example asking if your a felon or if you have certain misdemeanors like battery (which is normally not disqualifying, but is in California) . I would suspect if you refuse to respond they would just disallow the purchase.

Seems like it's ripe for a legal challenge.

Where in the proposed text does it say that your answer needs to be 'yes'?

It's only suggested in the description of the bill,

This bill would, beginning on March 1, 2025, additionally require the register or record to include the acknowledgment by the purchaser or transferee that they have, within the past 30 days, confirmed possession of every firearm that they own or possess.
I can't say 100% for sure you have to mark Yes to transfer, it just appears that is the intent of the bill.
