"No Weapons Allowed" signs removed from State building last week

I work for the State, in a State building. I noticed the 8 or so "No Weapons Allowed" signs disappeared last week (12th).

I assume this has to do with the 9th circuit HI decision, but no idea how or why.

Has anyone heard details of the State allowing weapons in/on State property?

We have "security" (a guy sitting behind glass that I've never seen move) and key cards to enter the building.

The 9th circuit did not rule on the issue of state controlled buildings, since that was not a contested issue in May v Bonta (as far as I know). However SB2 defines a prohibition for any carry in a building "under the control of an officer of the executive or legislative branch of the state government"
whatever that means. And buildings and parking areas under the control of a local government. So in other words just about any government building. So, why they removed the sign, I don't know. You can always ask.

Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon.

Would asking about the signs place you under suspicion? That might not go very well.

you should put up two more signs.

One clone of the no weapons that has in Govt-Speak "No Free Speech allowed", then a 3rd that explains US Constitution no longer in effect as of various SCOTUS rulings including the one about "100 miles from Border or Coast" used by Border Patrol today and to round up Japanese in WW2. See how long it takes for anyone to notice. Place spy cam to get reacts.
