right off the bat, the second GC letter looks very similar to some of the approved GC letters.

Is there any requirement of the county to give reasoning for denial?

I got denied my renewal 12/2010. I had my CCW for 4 years and I just don't understand how one year they say yes you have a good reason and then 2 years later they tell me its not good enough. Makes no sense.

Tis worth noting that, per GC & GMC discretion, not all factors (including the interview) may be included in the application form. So sure, some explaining to do, but not necessarily enough here to be incriminating.
