New Jersey Gun Owners Beat Back Ammo Ban

After outcry against a backdoor ammo ban, the Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee "held" A588 and amended A1013.

poses a threat to the safety and well being of law enforcement officers.
The term "unconstitutionally vague" comes to mind. A whole lot of stuff can fall under the category of posing a threat to law enforcement officers beyond ammunition. Glad to see it got stopped.
It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.

It's funny, when people say WE have it bad here in CA, I enjoy reminding them about New Jersey.

California doesn't respect the 2A. New Jersey is openly HOSTILE to the 2A.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
