Friend just walked in on burglar in his home!

Just got word from friend he walked in on his house being burglarized this morning after returning home from the gym!!!

I asked him what he did after our lengthy conversation we had in November of 2010 about which firearm was best for HD.

His libtard cousin pipes in what good would a gun do him, it would probably be used against him...

I am at a loss as to what rebuttal to give the cousin at his stupidity...

I hope he is first going to better locks and an alarm system. That will deter most burglars.

If the burglar and your gun are in the house......and you are not.....getting to your gun once you've found the burglar could be problematic. At very least you are WAY behind the 8-ball on effectively dealing with that situation.

Just another example of why being able to carry with you all the time is important if self-defense is to be effective.

The Libtard cousin would most definitely have a HD weapon used against him. He would probably figure that the presence of a firearm would simply put fear in the BG so he could scare him away. The cousin would not have thought through the escalation of force scenarios, and for sure would not be able to conceive of actually discharging a firearm at another human being.

I have never had a conversation with the libtard cousin personally but from hearing his views on numerous other topics, his mentality is definitely the type who believes that nobody should be killed even if they were forced into the situation of kill or be killed. He would choose to be killed himself rather than defend himself.

How do these people get it so backwards????

THIS. No one can actually say what they would do in that situation until it actually happens. Training or not. Taking a life is not cool, fun, or like playing a video game. It does change you....forever.
