Brief summary. It's not at all clear that the UN will be able to reach consensus on the treaty.
Even if the UN reaches consensus, it seem unlikely our Senate would agree to the treaty.
Even if the Senate voted for the treaty at the requisite level, it is unlikely SCOTUS would agree that the treaty could over-rule the 2A.
The key is to put someone other than Obama in office (and I don't mean putting in Hillary). I agree with you 100%, but unfortunately our school system is putting out very dumb adults who easily fall for false promises of hope and change. They think that electing a certain charlatan promising what they want to hear will make it real and they're willing to give up their 2nd A. rights. In 2008 Obama promised hope and change, now who knows what he'll promise this year, but surely there will be idiots who will fall for it and vote for him.Comment
