Pepper Spray Question - Bear Spray

I was at Bass Pro Shops yesterday and saw a big can of bear pepper spray. I thought you could only carry 2.5 oz in California.

What's the truth about carrying 2.5 oz vs. a big ol' can of bear spray.

It's called bear spray because of the 2.5oz limit.

If it's not used on a bear or as a weapon of opportunity in your residence, your probably in big trouble.

And if you carry it for defense against aggressive dogs?
Things usually turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out.

The bear spray is illegal to use on humans, but perfectly fine to use on bears or other animals that are attacking you, however, this should not be considered legal advice because IANAL.

Bear Spray is a lot weaker than defensive spray.
