Cause that is not "news" I think. A lot of non-gun owning folk that I've talked to about guns, one fo their first questions is "What are you afraid of?" Apparently you must be in fear of something if you're a gun owner, and it couldn't possibly be that you enjoy owning and using these wondeful tools. Of course, the lower prices at Turner's probably had something to do with it.

You should ask him "were will the fuzz be when you need them in seconds not tens of minutes?!" Then say "Ill take home protection in my own hands!"

Aye. I bought completed 2 FAL kits early this year. Bought another FAL and a Savage .22. Only one in the last six months, but four for the year more or less.

My dad's new Mossberg combo isn't included, because my brother and I didn't want to deal with buying it and transferring it to him. We took him with us, so the purchase date was the 26th.

The news broadcast I saw regarding this was a little anti climactic.
It stated the number beat previous records, but when the goof ball from the Brady bunch came on to comment, he discounted it and said the majority were probably not new gun owners, but rather previous owners that bought additional guns.

What we need is that same number of new gun owners buying next year.
And lets try to get as many of them in California as we can.

Invite your neighbor to come to the range with you and see if he/she will bite!

My Brand New 627-4 contributed to that as well. This one a month in California is kind of fun. Doing my best to satisfy the DOJ with my "one a month". Hmm? what new handgun will January bring????

The goofball can go ahead and try to kid himself and think that none of those purchases were new gun owner purchases if he likes.

Either way, the number of guns out there is not going down. I have never and I bet he has never met a true gun owner that said he was done with guns, sold them all, and jumped ship to join his ranks. It has to be so disheartening watching sales records being broken against a cause you have been championing to no avail. I so love it!

You are lucky, I told my wife that I wanted a springfield loaded (even sent her a link to one for sale on calguns, with a wilson barrel plus the original for $600), their was no hinting, I got a set of steak knives and a chest freezer

Oh well, guess Ill just save my money and buy myself my christmas present like usual.
