    FMG9 count as locked container?

Hypothetically...If the FMG9 by Magpul was CA legal to begin with, if you installed a lock on it while in the closed position would it be considered in a locked container, therefore legal to concealed carry? Just a thought!
http://www.magpul.com/pdfs/fmg9.pdf if you don't know what I'm talking about.

    Merry Christmas to everyone btw!

No, it doesn't 'fully enclose' the firearm...or does it...?

container which is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, key lock,
combination lock, or similar locking device.

    (d) As used in this section, "locked container" means a secure
container which is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, keylock,
combination lock, or similar locking device. The term "locked

      problems

This gun is going to have federal NFA issues, a pistol with a stock is classified as a short barrelled rifle.

The tech branch could consider this similar to a pen or cane gun also

Setting aside federal issues, state sbr issues, aow issues etc., the law says enclosed container as I read it.

Putting a lock on a gun so it doesn't open up is not carrying it in an enclosed container.
What will be interesting is how this gun relates with open carry when it is folded.
