    Camping with a firearm question

Generally I'm a troll getting info on this forum but I have questions I can't find the answer to related to camping.
1.How does the new open carry law affect camping and having a pistol? Before I believe you could open carry only unloaded firearms and magazines w/o a ccw on a hike, and then your campsite is a temp home which allows a firearm loaded.
    and
2.Does a ccw permit allow you to hike and have the firearm with you away from your campsite even in places, ie state parks, that say no firearms?

I was in Colorado for 2 years while in school and everyone camping open carried being that there were various animals that could attack you, or more likely attack your dog. Now that I'm back I want to go camping, and not carry a sharpened stick for protection <--sarcasm

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
