Another San Diego gun buyback in a GFSZ

1) the only way the Feds were able to bypass the SCOTUS ruling of the GFSZA as being unconstitutional was to revise it to include the interstate commerce clause... Weapons built in-state (such as AKs & AR's built at a "Build Party") are not subject to this clause, and therefore should not be subject to the GFSZA prohibitions (not that I'd want to have to test that in court, but it's worth knowing about!)

Unfortunately, the SCOTUS has ruled that something that was produced entirely within one state and has never left that state at all still affects interstate commerce. The reasoning is that if you bought a locally produced item, you therefore did not buy an interstate item, so interstate commerce is affected by your opportunity cost. I think they might have ruled this way in more than one case, too. The implications of this are absolutely horrible.

3) Ron Paul has a bill in committee to kill the GFSZA once and for all.... ya gotta Love that guy!
