    Tire Deflator ~ Legal?

I just saw this attachment on amazon and was wondering if it was legal in CA.

The knife in my pocket makes for a better tire deflator, wouldn’t want to mess up my barrel by driving into a wheel and hitting a rim as I try to deflate someones tire...

No when I would be deflating someone’s tire I have no idea.

I would equate this to a bayonet... just my opinion.

Dont see why not(hell the bayonet on my mosin is legal, way way more dangerous than that thing) though I think for the same price 8 of the golf ball launchers linked to on that page would be a lot more fun.

What's wrong with a bullet to deflate tires?

Yes, those golf ball launchers are way more fun. Buy one and use the rest of the money to buy blanks from Copes and golf balls from the local driving range.

Yeah, seriously, what is the real purpose of that thing? I feel like I'm not getting something.

The price seems a bit much, I have enough accessories on my AR, I was just curious. Sometimes it is hard to keep up with what is legal/not-legal in the good old PRK. Robcoe I have to agree with you on that one.

Just because it attaches to a firearm doesn't mean it's entirely useful.

I'm guessing someone made something and it didn't sell, then they found it it happens to fit on an AR so they're trying to get the mall ninjas to buy it....

this is quite possibly the most useless gun accessory ever made. It even trumps the pistol bayonet in the "stupid things to put on your gun" category.

just wait though, there'll be a bunch of deflated tires in a neighborhood and somehow, guns will be blamed because of this.

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

'Is this gun/gun-related-thing legal in CA?' questions have no place else to go.

I can't think of any law it violates. It strikes me as pretty silly though.
