Two Prominent Right-to-Carry Organizations Merge in California

Two of the most prominent Right-to-Carry organizations in California have joined forces in defense of every law-abiding Californian's basic and fundamental civil right to self defense as enumerated by the 2nd Amendment. A big thanks goes out to the CGF leadership in contributing their valuable time and effort to this successful process.

Looking forward to good things from the restructuring. There were a lot of good people in the two organizations and the consolidation could result in better planning, execution, and results.

And I'm really liking that there appears to have been cooperation with CGF/CRPA types. United we are stronger!

Does this mean they are backing off their hardline "**** the CGF" stance and want to work together?

To my knowledge, neither RCC or SBOC have taken that kind of devisive position. That sort of attitude is only demonstrated by the few shrinking rogue elements of the open carry movement, like Charles Nichols and his followers.

What this union between SBOC and RCC and solidarity with CGF means is that continuing to take the positions and promoting division inside the greater gun community as these rogue elements have, will only further isolate themselves from being a part of solutions that will actually work.

Sometimes the law defends plunder and participates in it. Sometimes the law places the whole apparatus of judges, police, prisons and gendarmes at the service of the plunderers, and treats the victim -- when he defends himself -- as a criminal. Bastiat

That makes me incredibly happy. I'd much rather everyone work together than stab each other to "get theirs", if that makes any sense.

Apropos, if not quite as literal as it was then.

                    Charles Nichols has followers?

I've met the guy and he seems nice enough. I don't agree with much of his line of thinking/decision making, but he has the right to think/do it.

Wish he'd understand that running off by himself with his rifle and charging the enemy only gives away our position as a group.

We're better off using a coordinated strike with multiple prongs at the time and place of our choosing using gathered reliable intel.

There are some that are against CG but for the most part most of us were CalGuns and are part of CG. We have been working together for sometime now. I have been a contributing member for a while. The community of CG forums are from all sorts of backgrounds, interests and opinions and I appreciate this.

There is still one critter that writes in SoCal and is against most gun organizations that are for carry rights. These people who are not willing to work "with" should be ignored. Those who work together even with differences will be the ones who are left standing in this fight.
