It's not a important story and in no way will affect the Presidency. Now move along. Nothing to see here. There is no story. If this happened to Bush we would of heard about it every 15 seconds on the air.

It's not just Bush, it's anything Republican. When the Liberals do it, the media will protect it at all costs. When the Conservatives do it, they will air it out like dirty laundry.

Guys, I realize that the story was mentioned on cbs, but now that it is getting serious, where is the daily coverage? Not just that the ATF ran guns, but that Holder lied and many more above him may be guilty as well. IAlso ,I was refering to mainstream news TV not cnn or hannity. I mean prime time, moring and evening news, in depth coverage. This is a HUGE scandal, not just a small boo boo by BATFE.

If it was a Republican administration running an operation to supply guns to drug cartels and drive up the US and Mexican death toll for the sole purpose of justifying legislation to deny American citizens their rights then it would be a huge story and would be the headline of every ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, and NPR news shows until after the election. But since it was the work of a Democrat President and his cronies and further exposure would embarrass Democrats it's just treated as small BATF boo-boo unworthy of further investigation and for sure unworthy of being reported. The goal of the media is to promote the Progressive agenda, protect Democrats in general and Obama in particular, and get Obama reelected.

One would think that this is breaking news and the networks would be fighting to get first access to this government sponsored, tax payer funded, gun smuggling operation and false flag attack. I am appalled at the lack of coverage on mainstream TV. A huge crime was committed, an attorny general lied and then changed his story, people were transferred, a president may be guilty of treason. Why is this not all over the media 24/7 like the OJ trial, the Conrad Murray trail, watergate, clinton sexcapades etc?

CBS has had some coverage; you'll see the other networks start to give it more time if someone is charged, etc. Right now it's just a bunch of unproven facts and innuendo.

No one has been charged or proven guilty of anything so there isn't much to report on. There is a lot of activity on the blogosphere, but it's pretty much slanted and partisan to the point that it muddies the issue.
