Not to be rude, but any evidence/proof to back this claim up?

The series we are currently casting is looking for a specific family; a tight knit, fun, smart, knowledgeable group (parents with teenage kids) who have a family business related to firearms (i.e. Gun Range, Gun Club, Firearm Vendors, Instructors, Tactical Trainers, Managers of these facilities, etc.). I'm specifically interested in members who not only believe in right to bear arms but also celebrate it as a hobby, a way of life, and a means of family bonding.

Sounds like you are looking for the family on American Guns.

I shall look forward to watching this

I wish I qualified, I only play with guns for fun, and my son is almost old enough to start shooting a BB gun....give us a few years.

Except one that lives in an oppressed state. This will be exceptionally difficult as most parents in the firearms industry/business would have moved away from opressive states due to the stree on business, family, civil rights already.

If nothing else, California's ban on the "manufacture for civilian use" over 10+ magazines is a huge hardship on CA manufacturers. Add to that taxes and increased cost of labor and living and the result is very few gun companies in the state.

Advantage Arms makes .22 conversion kits. My wife has one for her Glock, although it is pointless for us, competitor's kits have mags that round 10+. I am sure this impacts their sales.

I personally find American Guns to be odd. The daughter dresses like an absolute tramp and Dad seems to dig it. I love watching sons of guns with my kids, but not American Guns. Anything positive about the 2a is wiped out by that families strangeness in my opinion.

Sons of Guns is terrible. I haven't watched them since they faked that Desert Eagle scene. American Guns seems to be better but we are never going to have the perfect gun show on mainstream television.

Very true about the perfect show. The only thing that bothers me on sons is when they shoot a target and you get a 5 gallon of gas/C4 fireball. Remember who your audience is....

I was watching the last show and told my wife that the way the son looked at his sister is kinda creepy.

I simply can't watch Son's of Guns anymore. Unoriginal weapons hobbled together and the constant pretending to be building guns for use in the field drives me nuts,

For me, Top Shot is the best gun show on right now.

It"s a great sign that we have so many gun-oriented shows available that we can be picky. It will be fun to see what Spike TV has in the wings.

I love how the main dude, Will, on Sons of Gun's gets that goofy grinning look on his face like he just finished servicing a sheep, and announces he's going to invent something no one else has done before...

I'm almost certain the only original thing they've made was that chrome dragon Browning, just because not one other person I could even think of would be stupid enough to do that.

The master key, the f***ing rifle in a box. If he want to carry something in a box, it should be a 1000mg dosage of reality, or maybe slimfast. Now I know he's a former Marine, so I will say thank you for that. But every day you continue to make the rest of us look bad, tsk, tsk...

                              Hi Guys,

The states above are just preferences...we are open to families across the US as long as as they meet the general guidelines. As you all know, it's more challenging to be pro 2A in 'hostile territory'.

We are looking for a terrific, knowledgeable family - not looking to replicate the American Guns family.

Contact me here or at deirdre@metalflowersmedia.com for more information.
