It appears from reading the legislation that, among others, attorneys and licensed insurance people are exempt from AB 144 and can UOC? As an attorney, I have read and re-read the legislation many times and saw the exception as part of the Business and Professions Code amendment provisions but had a hard time tracking it through clearly to the "do/ can't do" plain meaning of the bill. Anyone with clarity on this?

Start on the bill page and see what was added to the code by the original bill - the part you are seeing was already in place BEFORE the bill was submitted. New text was added at 7574.14 (k) - look for the italics in the original bill text.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
