Need help finding law on LTC and transporting

    Hi,
I'm having trouble finding the thread on what is required of a person transporting a firearm with and without an LTC.

    Specifically,
What does the law require you to do when you are in a vehicle with a firearm and you are approached by law enforcement.
What does the law require you to do when you are a pedestrian with a concealed firearm and you hold a valid LTC when approached by law enforcement?
I know there was some thread a while back but I can't find it. Does anyone have a link to that saved or do you know the PC that covers that?
    Thanks.

Nothing, unless you do have a LTC, and your issuing agency requires that you inform cops when they contact you. There is a wide variation of opinions on what contact merits this.

Hey tiki, the PC is stated in California Penal Code 12050 or you can check out Cal CCW

Yeah, there's a lot to sort through on 12050.
        Thanks for the link!

          Asked and answered.

In case someone missed it, no law requires any action in the cases proposed in the OP.

With LTC, the issuing agency may, or may not, have a policy.
