Come now, haven't you seen Trading Places with Eddie Murphy?

On a serious note, I do think that with no summer jobs available for kids and no winter jobs for dad who needs to buy the GI Joe with the Kungfoo grip we do see more petty crimes like vehicle break ins, robbery, etc.

Maybe a Cop will chime in to tell us who is right/wrong.

False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.

I was out of town yesterday and got home today with this article cut out of the paper by my wife who is somewhat anti... Can't wait for her to get home and ask what she thought of it. She is all for having a gun for home protection, but insists it remain unloaded in the safe... WHAT??? Don't even get me started on her opinion of my LTC!!! No sense at all! Hope her opinion was swayed at least a little by this!

I tell people if they want to be anti-gun and debate it with me then go out and take the gun safety course and pass it. Don't buy a gun or anything and then we can debate it. Nothing worse than arguing with an ignorant person. I have a solid anti gun person who is changing her mind now that crime is getting worse in her part of Sacramento and the cops are seen less. i have known her six years and this is the first time I have had her ask me about costs of learning about how to use a firearm. People are changing their minds slowly.
