    "You're not guilty, goodbye."

    Back in May, Pennsylvania State Sen. Bob Mensch was convicted of disorderly conduct for brandishing a handgun at another motorist.

    As Sen. Mensch was an NRA/PVF endorsed candidate and was also instrumental in advancicng gun rights in Pennsylvania, the folks at the Brady Campaign, Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and Violence Policy Center couldn't contain their glee at the conviction.

    Well, he appealed. After four hours of testimony, the Judge said, "You're not guilty, goodbye."

    Congratulations, Senator.

    Somehow, I doubt the folks at Brady, et al. are going to issue a retraction.

    Interesting indeed. I guess all's well that ends well.

      Sounds like it was really a case of one man's word against the other. In a criminal matter like this is, the charge must be proved "beyond a reasonable doubt". One man's word against another's is much more like "I don't know who to believe". So no conviction. "I don't know who to believe" = not guilty.
      It doesn't matter how scary, ugly, uncomfortable, or inconvenient self defense can be. Like it or not, you will never, ever be relieved of your duty and responsibility to defend your life, your family, your country and your freedom.

      How much ammo do I need? Enough to last me the rest of my life, and then lot more for later.

      The government does not come knocking at your door. It comes knocking down your door.
