I think the Governor plays chess too, and he's not sitting across from us.

Had to double check to make sure I'm on the right thread.

Everything else aside, before you make a claim like that you better be able to substantiate it.
Guys, the Declaration preceded, and is the foundation for the Constitution; the Constitution does not contradict the Declaration, it can't. The Constitution grants no rights, it merely recognizes some and protects them. Rights exist because, as stated in the Declaration, they are endowed on men by their creator.

And Meg Whitman is an even bigger gun hater, totally inexperienced in government and, as far as I can see, not someone I agree with on many issues or someone I'd want to sit next to at a dinner table (wheras, I suspect, Jerry would make an amusing neighbor).

I wasn't duped, I voted for Jerry after seriously considering both him and the alternative, and I still consider that the right choice. And, unlike Meg, at least he owns guns.

No offense, but I heard this before. Do you think Lawrence v. Texas was incorrect, theretofor, the state has the power to prohibit the romantic acts of non-related consenting adults in private?

For the same reason Parker/Heller went up and won in front of SCOTUS and Seegars did not.

I think we should all take this conversation to live chat.

                      ;-)

GP, you never called me back the other day. Made me sad panda.
