When I did the analysis I was feeling pretty low. We'd just lost cert on Williams and Heller II had gone the wrong way. The history does give some perspective, and really represents a long term good trend. I would also like to point out that if even 0.1% more of Illinois' gun owners had bothered to get off their deriers and vote in the last election, this graph would look much better because IL would now be shall issue, so we would have roughly 80% of the country with CCW rights vs. 70% we have today. Everyone here knows some gun owner who refuses to vote for whatever reason. These are the people we need to reach."Weakness is provocative."
