I was rather amused in that the last inquiry to the DOJ I had resulted in a return phone call and through the course of our conversation the DOJ rep. recommended that in the future I find "CalGuns" on the internet and ask them first because they know what they are talking about and it would be faster.

You probably spoke directly with the DAG in charge of BoF. We have a great working relationship with them, and I hope that our members would reach out to us for information so as to not burden their office with loads of smaller requests.
