I read the string on no ammo shipped to Ventura and discovered Napa Co. was on some lists. This was my first letter to a vendor and their response was great. They will now ship. I am going to buy some to support them and to thank them. I have a couple more letters out to other vendors waiting for responses. As private companies they can sell where they choose but when they make statements like, Warning can not ship to Napa Co. that implies it's illegal and to me spreads FUD. I still wonder how Napa Co ended up on the list The letter and response is below.
No problem, take care.

Thanks for checking. I appreciate it. *Unfortunately my state has been known to spread confusion in this area. Thanks again for looking in to it. *

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.* Upon taking an initial look at the Napa County Ordinances, we cannot identify any restriction(s) which would prohibit us from shipping ammo to Napa County.* Please bear with us as we continue to look into the matter.* If we determine that there are no restrictions, we will remove the clause from our website.

Hello, your site says you will not ship ammunition to Napa county. I have lived in Napa county for many years and know of no law prohibiting ammo sales. *I have asked many law enforcement folks and legal folks at my gun club and there are no laws restricting Ammo in Napa Co. *Could you please provide the actual penal code or other reference thats restricts ammo sales to Napa Co. *We would love to purchase your products. *We understand CA can be a quagmire of silly laws but there appears to be nothing prohibiting ammo sales to Napa Co.
I am a NRA, Calguns, and CRPA member. *Myself and many of my fellow members try to educate vendors on CA laws. *Many vendors get confused by the condor lead free zone laws. *Napa co is not in the zone and the condor law only prohibits using lead ammo in a condor zone, nothing at all about selling it. * Curious to hear your answer and anxious to buy some of your product.
Sincerely
