NRA+CRPA Foundation Reveal Obstruction of Lead Ammo Research Probe...

Posting here because I haven't seen Sean's post yet, so taking liberties...

https://<a href="http://www.calgunla...tinue.html</a>here. To view the Commission meeting video, click here for part one and click hereeighty weeks analyzing tens of thousands of pages of public records concerning information relied on to propose lead ammunition bans, including original data and internal documents not previously obtained or reviewed by independent analysts or the public at large. The effort has already resulted in the rejection of several proposed ill-conceived lead ammo bans in California.

Thanks, hopefully this Condor zone B.S. can get tossed out.

So does this mean that we are working on overturning current bans, or simply trying to prevent more? Or both?

I'm sure the current bans are a consideration...what I think is more important is challenging them with their own data; watching them squirm as they make excuses for not presenting it; once the data is forthcoming, what it actually says vs. what "they" want it to say.

I think I'm going to lose my temper. Public policy is being determined on the basis of papers that have not yet been published since they haven't been properly vetted (reviewed), but those who are in a position to oppose a specific public policy stance aren't allowed to see the "materials and methods" because it hasn't been peer reviewed?

With all the crap that has survived peer review over the past few years, I'm astonished that they feel the need for these kind of shenanigans. I wish I were surprised that our"public servants" have gone along with it.
Bless, O Lord, this creature beer, which thou hast deigned to produce from the fat of grain: that it may be a salutary remedy to the human race, and grant through the invocation of thy holy name; that, whoever shall drink it, may gain health in body and peace in soul. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

I think that if they find that these universities lied, they should loose all access to public funding. They obviously don't have the ethics to conduct proper scientific studies.

Lol nothing will happen to them, just like nothing happened to that "scientist" Hien Tran from CARB. I take it back he got a suspension and a pay cut but he still works for that pseudo science waste of taxpayers money pit. Environmental nuts will never admit they were wrong, case in point the spotted owl:http://www.theblaze.com/stories/govt...ir-competition
All the hippies chained to trees couldn't stop the poor spotted owl from near extinction, turns out it was less of a logging problem and more of owls cross mating.

                    Hurrah!
CalGuns Network (CGN) is different from CalGuns Foundation (CGF). Both need our support. I have gold name because I support CGN; plus, I send $10 every two weeks to CGF automatically via online BillPay as described here.

It's sickening that these 'scientists' N E V E R have any repercussions for out and out lying. I was listening to cam and company and they were talking about a guy that was hired to look for some endangered species and he planted fur in an area so he could say the species was there.

                      Makes me sick.

Did y'all hear Gore go completely bat**** crazy after having a few drinks? He cursed everybody for the collapse of his global warming scam. it's damn funny.

Thank god his concern for the environment hasn't made him stop using *his* private jet or cooling his ginormous mansion on the west coast.

I'm wondering how the ban made it through a court room without the "best evidence" (i.e., the data) being entered into evidence. Why wasn't it demanded at that time?

Had the same issue in the Imperial valley with closed areas to protect various flowers and frogs.

Once we pried the info from the Feds, their own research showed the open areas had better performance and growth than the closed areas.

Politicians - using tax payer dollars to fund a survey then skewing the results to support their own agenda. It never changes.

There may not have been any data in the first place. Why waste the time when they figured they could make it up and never be questioned on it since they're doing their masters' bidding?

Ok, so serious question. What can the CA residents do to show their distaste for these lies? Can a lawsuit be brought?
