    Thumbprint

When is the thumb print going to be required for hand gun ammo?

It was not repealed; it was to be too unconstitutionally vague.

The law did not go into effect, because a CA Superior Court Judge ruled the law was unconstitutionally vague and issued an injunction preventing the law from going into effect.

The state of CA can appeal the decision.

No joke...The local news station on January 31st ran a quick blurb saying the law was going into effect and ammunition buyers would have to give ID and thumbprint to buy ammo starting February 1st. I immediately sent them a feedback email and asked them to run a correction...I got the standard "We've forwarded your email to the appropriate department" email 5 minutes later...but no retraction.
