Weapons Dealer From City Of Bell Ranks 10th For Most Guns Found In Mexico

All I can say is *facepalm*

Former city manager and master embezzler Robert Rizzo isn't the only slimeball of a news scandal to come out of the City of Bell in 2010.

This morning, an intensive Washington Post report on U.S. gun shops that have sold the most weapons recovered by police is hitting the nation like a deadly truth bomb. There's also a list for guns found exclusively in Mexico -- and that's where one infamous little L.A. County town comes in.

From the WaPo (liberal rag) original story, a rare spec of truth in their reporting:

"A high number of guns traced to a store does not necessarily signal wrongdoing. The number of traces a store generates is shaped by many factors, including volume, the type of guns sold, geography and clientele."

I hope everyone remembers that there are enough weapons down in Mexico to be conducting what is pretty much a civil war. 60 firearms into that maelstrom is enough to maybe equip two platoons. . .

Also, remember that pretty much the only firearms found in Mexico which get traced are from the U.S. So when they say that most firearms are traced back to the U.S. it's because they're the only ones that can be/are traced. The ones coming from Venezuela through the FARC in Colombia are not traced. Nothing from Cuba is traced. Nothing from Iran is traced.

Just a reminder to keep it all in perspective. . .

...nothing from China is traced, nothing from Brazil is traced, nothing from Yemen is traced... and Mexico sits next door to us with a virtually open border.

Have you ever been to Bell? If you had, it would make perfect sense.

I've been to that gun store. They have some nice Colt 1911s (38super & 45s). Way overpriced. I don't think is the gun shops fault, the majority of the buyers are Hispanic, some with the intent of criminal acts. 60 guns from 1000s of guns sold yearly isn't so bad. Compare to the tons of drugs and illegals crossing over. We are getting fvkkd.

Why is it that pictures of barrios/slums always have a chicken, a tire, and a scraggly dog in them?

They're defining slum/ghetto characteristics, of course. You can't have one without them!
