Let's make a new law in another state allowing visitors resedency

Say we got this done in AZ, where if you're an American citizen and visiting AZ you're automatically a resident of it. This would help us with the roster, FTF transfers of guns etc.

More over I have friends that currently live out of country, Americans, obviously legal citizens of this country, through and through but if they come back for a few months etc they can't buy a gun because their permanent resedence in not in the US.

Would this be feasable, is something already going on to get something like this done?

Won't help, you'd have to meet the federal definition of resident regardless of what the state says.

Answers to some common questions about the buying, selling, shipping, renting or loaning of firearms to an unlicensed person.

Well then how do we get that repealed since it in effect tramples some peoples constitutional rights?

            Ka ka ka yea!

BTW, here's some good updates on Hodgkins (now Dearth)...judge originally dismissed it claiming that the plantiffs didn't have standing since they hadn't already violated the law

Hodgkins/Dearth v. Holder was originally in the DC District Court. Defendants (Holder) filed a motion to dismiss due to lack of standing. This motion to dismiss was granted on 1/5/2010. See items 5 and 11 on the old docket...
