IANAL and really have no idea how the judicial promotion process works, but might it be possible to, secondary to the current RTKBA activities, assist selected Federal judges to higher judicial office?
I'd imagine that SCOTUS -- indications are there might be two vacancies after 2012 -- is winnowed from lower court seats. Is it possible to enhance the chances that a judge proven favorable to 2A is among those considered?
Better minds than mine will have to sit at the table and address this matter, but I'd be happy to serve the drinks.
